•Finally, the third case is given by a combination of 2b (endogenous even CAs) and a 1 (2/8 + 1/8). Table 4.23 shows some examples. We have a situation that is similar to the previous one, but with a 1 in each of three chunks. However, the same rule is valid here: do the 1s that are in agreement in a 1-chunk occupy the same position in the two 2-chunks? If yes, we get the first kind of expression, if not we get the second kind (note in particular rows 3 and 4).
